CROM 3 (cervical range of motion)

Measurement of cervical spine mobility. Supported by the headgear all partial head movements can be measured. Measurement of spine’s total rotation is possible as well.
2 intergrated Inclinometers and a compass measure moving components. Inclinometers measure flexion/ extension as well as lateral inclination. Compass measures rotation. Inclinometers are adjustable in scale position 0°. Therefore differential measurements are possible. Compass measures rotation. Direction „NORTH“ is adjusted within the support of a shoulder girdle containing 2 permanent magnets.
Various studies attest device’s validity and reliabilty.
Additionally you can order a „head-forward-unit“ which enables you to measure patient‘s protaction- and retraction mobility.
